Information on Boxer Dogs presented by Boxer Dogs!

Our life with boxer dogs has been filled with joy, dedication, love, laughter and sadness. The lessons we have learned from them are priceless. The information on boxer dogs we share with you comes from the love we have received from our boxers.

Love, dedication, and sharing without reservation is the boxer dog way, so we have decided to share their gift to us with all of you who love these wonderful dogs. Boxers are more than pets, they are a part of the family.

We have decided to let our boxers "talk" to you from their point of view about all of the information on boxer dogs located here. They will be your expert guides to all things boxer....

Along the way, they will share interesting stories in their lives to help make the site fun as well as useful!

Our information on boxer dogs comes from 20 years of living with boxers, four of them to be exact. Each one of them with a slightly different personality. Here is a brief note about each....

Tigger was our first boxer, he came into our life when he was two from a family who did not want him any longer. He went through quite a learning curve with us. Tigger was very patient with us, as we began to learn just how special the boxer really is.

Tigger was the serious one of the bunch. He was not one to play a great deal, he was a gentle giant. His brindle color, gave him his name.

The information on boxer dogs that Tigger is going to cover includes a section on the history of the boxer dog. This area details the accepted origins of the boxer and their characteristics.

Tigger's information on boxer dogs will also include the site map. You can use this page to navigate anywhere on the site you want to go.

Our second blessing was Buffy. A gentleman was going to use her to breed, but she had hip dysplasia so he just wanted rid of her. She was underfed and had a bald spot on her back from the chain around her neck. When we saw her, we decided we wanted her right then and she wanted us. She climbed right in the car like she knew her life was about to change for the best.

She was around one year old when we rescued her and had her spayed. She and Tigger were best of friends from day one. Total opposites for boxers, he was serious and Buffy was the fun lover, alway's playful and full of herself, your typical boxer clown!

Buffy's information on boxer dogs will include the boxer dog health section of the site. We cover most all aspects of taking care of your boxer.

Buffy will also guide you to the story section on each of our boxers. In this area we reveal the rewards of living with these special animals.

When Tigger died, Buffy was lonely, so we adopted Obie. He was six weeks old when we picked him out of a litter of three.

He has always been special, a talker, even as a puppy. He is the "Ronald Reagan " of the bunch, "The Great Communicator"

Obie's information on boxer dogs will include the pictures of boxer dogs area of the site that has some of our most cherished moments captured on film.

Obie will also help you find all kinds of boxer resources with an area of the site dedicated to helping boxer owners find anything they may be looking for.

We then decided we wanted another puppy to raise with Obie, so we found Chelsea two weeks after Obie, she was 14 weeks old. They grew up together and developed a very special bond.

Chelsea's being a white boxer dog made her special, as you will learn later. She is the "wolf in sheep's clothing"!

Chelsea of course will guide you through the white boxer dog pages. This section will inform you about why there are white boxers and what happens to many of them.

Chelsea will also cover the section dedicated to boxer dog training. We are not professional dog trainers, but we know what has worked with our babies, and it may work for you as well

We will be constantly updating the site adding features and information on boxer dogs as we gather it.

Join our boxer dog family, it's free and we will keep you up to date with boxer dog news, information, and helpful tips for raising and caring for your boxer. Look at the back issues of our Boxer Dog Newsletter and we think you will want to subscribe. Our goal is to help all boxer families.

We have a boxer dog news page to help keep you up to date with announcements and other boxer dog related information that is time sensitive.

If you have any questions about this site, or if you have any suggestions for improvements please contact us.
