Boxer Dog Microchip
Recently a neighbor found two boxers lost on the highway and it was obvious they belonged to someone, however their collars did not have a name and address on them. They took them to the vet to see if they were microchipped and they were not. This left us with little options to find their owners. A microchip in them would have saved a lot of money boarding them, getting shots and a week in a kennel. Fortunately the owners were found, but it was luck. Getting you boxer dog microchipped is not expensive and is painless to your baby. The cost ranges from $20 to $50 depending on the vet and is great peace of mind if your boxer dog is lost and does not have it collar on with a name and address. Your vet (most of them anyway) can implant the microchip for you and it only takes about 5 minutes. I know for us, have our boxer dogs microchipped is worth the peace of mind, in case our babies get lost. Be sure to call you vet and ask about getting a microchip implanted in your boxer, someday you may be glad you did.
