We would be honored to have you read our stories and try to live with us for a short time. As spokesdogs for Mom and Dad, we take pleasure in sharing our lives with you. Tigger was the first boxer in the family. He became a part of the family in April 1985 and was an only child until November of 1990. As an only child and the first child, there was much to learn on both sides. Tigger was not used to being in the house, but soon adapted. Click here to read about boxer dogs from Tigger's stories. In November of 1990 I (Buffy) was adopted into the family. Tigger was seven at the time and was thrilled to have me in the family. I was so excited to see Tigger and he was so handsome and a gentleman, that I fell in love with him from day one. I was one, so there was several years between us. I loved my new family from day one. I was perfectly happy in the house and by then mom and dad had discovered doggie doors so I could come and go in the fenced back yard as I pleased. Go here to read my (Buffy) boxer dog stories..... When Tigger passed away, I was devastated and so depressed. I lost all of my will to play... I was lost. After about a month, Mom and Dad found me a baby boy to raise. Obie was adopted into the family in March of 1994. He was a pistol from day one. He was only 6 weeks old, but could already talk. He talked when he was hungry, when he played and when he was bored. It made my spirits come alive again to have a baby to raise. You can learn a lot about boxer dogs from Obie and the stunts that he pulled throughout the years. Please read about boxer dogs from Obie's story here.... About 4 days after Mom and Dad adopted Obie, they also adopted Chelsea. She was 14 weeks old and was solid white except for a brown patch over her eye. Now I was happy to have Obie, but not so pleased to have another girl in the house. Chelsea was shy and innocent looking, she was also more protective of the family than Obie was. She did not have a good start in life and it took her a while to trust the family.
